WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) is responsible for overseeing the administrative operations within our agency. The CAO works with top-level executives to devise strategies to meet the organization's objectives, and reports on the performance of the various departments to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working in a team with top-level executives to devise strategies and policies to meet company goals and strategic plans.
- Managing and supervising the day-to-day operations of various departments and functions, such as finance, legal, IT, facilities, compliance, data, and grant lifecycle management. Will also oversee future training function.
- Strong focus on management of agency fiscal health including budgeting, audit, and accounting operations.
- Managing contracting, business negotiations, and procurement.
- Coordinating inter-departmental activities and delegating responsibilities to subordinates.
- Compiling performance reports and reporting to the CEO.
- Ensuring all laws, regulations, and rules are met.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Master's degree in related area, or equivalent work experience required.
- Non-profit accounting and/or grant management experience required.
- Experience in project management.
- Solid work experience in a managerial-level position.
- A working knowledge of government regulations for business and code of federal regulations related to non-profits.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
- High degree of interpersonal and effective decision-making skills.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive salary range of $130,000 to $160,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
- Benefits such as health insurance (Independent Health), accrued Paid Time Off (PTO) of 6+ weeks, 401k retirement plan with company match, and 13+ observed holidays.
