POSITION SUMMARY

The Chief Construction Officer is responsible for steering the construction division, offering strategic oversight, leadership, and specialized knowledge across all construction initiatives within the organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring the timely and budget-compliant execution of construction projects while upholding the highest quality benchmarks as stipulated in contracts. The Chief Construction Officer is instrumental in fostering innovation in construction practices, ensuring adherence to legal and safety regulations, and nurturing robust relationships with clients and stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Directs and guides the construction division with strategic vision
  • Oversees the formulation of project strategies, financial plans, and resource distribution
  • Negotiates agreements with various stakeholders
  • Establishes and enforces quality control measures
  • Tracks project budgets and evaluates financial outcomes
  • Identifies and mitigates potential project risks
  • Develops and sustains client relationships
  • Ensures regulatory compliance
  • Prepares and delivers comprehensive project reports
  • Participates in project coordination meetings
  • Ensures safety training for construction personnel

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

  • Manages client engagement and satisfaction

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Professional certifications are advantageous
  • A minimum of seven years of leadership experience in the construction sector
  • Experience in real estate development projects is essential
  • Proven expertise in contract negotiation and project management

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

Construction Site Environment:

  • Must be able to navigate all areas of the construction site
  • Must comply with safety protocols and wear necessary protective gear
  • Occasionally required to lift heavy materials

  • Local and overnight travel may be necessary
