About the Role:  
The CHANEL National Fragrance Expert is responsible for delivering retail sales goals and implementing Education plans and training initiatives. This position works closely with the CHANEL Account Executive and Education Executives to utilize business analysis tools to create impactful store-based action plans that drive sales and productivity while building retailer teams’ brand knowledge to deliver a memorable CHANEL brand experience.

Business Execution:  

Ensure flawless execution for all Fragrance launches, animations, and other point of sale activities  Work alongside Fragrance Advisors and Beauty Advisors, including brand ambassadors, leading as the example in product knowledge and customer service, to help create the ultimate CHANEL client experience  Communicate and partner with Account Executive to identify business needs and opportunities  Establish and cultivate relationships with key business partners to ensure support and alignment of Chanel goals and strategies  Work closely with the store management teams to gain incremental exposure and business opportunities

Talent Development:  

Recruit, train, coach, and retain top Fragrance talent to represent Chanel fragrances  Reinforce and support the current Education curriculum and utilization of all its tools on an ongoing basis  Educate RSS using available resources, such as INSIDE BEAUTY, to ensure they are well versed on CHANEL fragrances  Partner with Education Executive to strategize and develop educational opportunities that will result in increased Fragrance exposure and sales 

Brand Image & Experience:  

Keep image as top priority and adhering to all visual standards  Responsible for ensuring all Fragrance merchandising guidelines and visual merchandising elements are properly executed at all stores  Ensure that the client experience consistently meets CHANEL’s standards through coaching and role-modeling of desired behaviors  Work side by side with Fragrance and Beauty Associates to identify opportunities for sales and elevated client experience  Guide Fragrance Associates/Ambassadors to connect with clients in a meaningful and authentic way

Position Logistics:  

Strong written and oral skills  Computer program proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Suit  Collaborative and solution oriented  Proven ability to recruit  Strong planning and organizational skills  Self-motivated, results oriented, creative thinker  Minimum 2-3 years of retail experience or other relevant experience  Ability to work from a Home Office  Travel is required by car and plane at times – annual travel = 30%-40%  Ability to lift at minimum 40 pounds  Must possess valid driver’s license  Requires in-store presence to develop and coach teams, ensure boutique image and operational standards are upheld and support and create an elevated client experience. Eligible for flex time use

Compensation:  

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $63,400 through $95,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay will be offered for this position. Other components will include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks
