Job Description

As an Inside Sales Representative for our Solar Innovations, you will be responsible for building relationships and driving orders with targeted dealers, builders & architect segments within a territory. You will develop your customer base by contacting new leads, following up on quotes and literature requests, and discussing projects with new and existing customers. You will collaborate with outside sales reps and dealers to support revenue-generating activities and key channel partner follow-up.

The ideal candidate will enjoy speaking with customers over the phone in an office environment, have experience in a sales or customer service role in the construction or architecture industries, and have great communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.

This position is a great opportunity to get into an entry-level sales position with a starting salary range of anywhere from $44-55K annually plus a bonus.

Location : This position reports to our Pine Grove, PA office location 5 days per week.

What you will be doing:

Communicate effectively with customers within your assigned sales territory, in addition to assisting with calls for projects outside of your territory Respond timely to customer inquiries, answer technical questions, and provide expertise to help convert to order Cross-reference quote request forms when speaking to customers and read/interpret architectural plans and specifications to ensure all pertinent information is collected during the initial call and properly transitioned to the Estimating Team Meet minimum expected call number, quote request, and generated sales metrics in alignment with the historical performance of the territory and strategic growth goals Ensure that new customers have been entered into the CRM Database and that all communication (emails, phone calls, literature requests, etc.) with a customer is added to the communication log Liaison with other functional areas (Account Management, Engineering, Marketing, Drafting /Cutlist) to ensure a positive customer experience

Qualifications

Previous experience in Sales or Customer Service Role (specifically in a customer-facing capacity) Experience in a deadline-oriented environment and able to handle changing priorities Strong organizational skills Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint High School Diploma or GED

Nice-to-Have:

2+ years of experience in a related Sales/Customer Service Role Experience in the Construction or Architectural Industry Experience reading plans/blueprints specifications Associates or Bachelors’ Degree in a related field (ex. Architecture, Design, Business, Marketing, Communications, etc.)
