THE JOB

Ticketmaster’s Business Systems team is looking for a talented, motivated, detail-oriented report developer that will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing reporting solutions using multiple reporting tools (primarily DOMO). You will need strong analytical, debugging and data validation skills to explore datasets from multiple data sources and validate that data against financial reports. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, gather data from various sources, and create visually appealing and insightful reports and dashboards. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential to explain SQL/Python codes, data findings, data issues, reports and dashboards to specialists and non-specialists at all levels of the organization. As a member of the Business Systems team, you will play a key role in leveraging data to drive business decisions and improve operational efficiency.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and objectives. Design and develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using multiple reporting platforms (primarily DOMO). Develop and uphold SQL queries to extract data from various sources, collaborating with the technical team to establish efficient ETL processes. Apply business knowledge to analyze data to understand it and create new reports or data products from it. Gather and integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Optimize report performance and data refresh schedules to meet business needs. Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for report-related issues. Stay updated on DOMO platform capabilities and best practices to continuously improve reporting solutions. Train end-users on how to use and interpret reports and dashboards effectively. Document report specifications, data sources, and development processes. Collaborate with other team members and departments to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Data Sciences, Statistics, or related field. 1+ years of work experience in BI, Data Analytics or Data Science. Proven experience as a report developer or similar role, with a strong understanding of DOMO architecture and functionalities. Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and extraction from various databases. Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling principles, preferably with familiarity in S3, Athena, Databricks, and Oracle. Experience in creating complex reports and dashboards with interactive features and drill-down capabilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau, OAC (OBIEE) is a plus. Familiarity with Python is a plus. Desire to dig into datasets to understand how they relate to business processes and how those processes influence the data being produced. A go-getter attitude with a proactive approach to challenges and solutions. Willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
