Job Description:

Position Overview:

The Client Specialist is responsible for managing key financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end close activities. This role requires a candidate who can prioritize and manage multiple client needs while delivering high-quality financial services. Strong communication skills are essential, as the position involves regular interaction with clients via phone and video calls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle daily accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and banking for multiple clients.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of daily financial transactions.
  • Post journal entries to balance sheets and income statements using standardized methods.
  • Perform updates and reconciliations of balance sheet accounts weekly and monthly.
  • Conduct daily posting and downloads for bank accounts and credit cards as needed.
  • Process payroll through third-party vendors.
  • Utilize, monitor, and review third-party applications according to client requirements.
  • Review and process sales and use tax filings on a monthly or quarterly basis.
  • Reconcile quarterly payroll filings with the general ledger.
  • Oversee the month-end close process.
  • Participate in occasional special projects.
  • Lead client meetings with a focus on exceptional customer service.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in full-charge bookkeeping.
  • 3-5 years of experience using NetSuite Software.
  • Experience working with small to mid-sized businesses.
