Resource Innovations is seeking an experienced Transportation Electrification Program Manager in Massachusetts to join our growing Transportation Electrification team. As a Program Manager, you will be focused on the successful launch of Vehicle-to-Everything demonstration programs across Residential, Commercial, and School District participants.  

You will be supported by our Transportation Electrification team, our VP of PMO, and the local Northeast Delivery team. You will have a unique opportunity to shape and build a best-in-class statewide V2X program working alongside our partners in technology and charging, automotive, engineering and construction, and with our local stakeholder engagement and V2X guidance lead.  

As a Program Manager with Resource Innovations, you will work closely with senior program leaders to ensure we meet internal deadlines and exceed partner and client expectations. You will be establishing best practices, managing various projects and partners, tracking and ensuring deliverables/milestones are met, and working cross collaboratively with the internal team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of state-wide V2X initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timelines. The V2X demonstrations will be installed within three participant groups: Residential, Commercial/Fleet, and School Districts. 
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with our local sub partner, government agencies, industry partners, and community organizations to promote V2X technologies and gather feedback. 
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with federal funding requirements. 
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all program activities comply with state and federal regulations regarding transportation and data privacy. 
  • Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate program success and prepare regular reports for stakeholders. 
  • Team Coordination: Manage partnerships with our subs, cross-functional teams, including engineers, analysts, and support staff, to ensure effective collaboration and communication. Create agendas and facilitate meetings with our partners and our client on a monthly basis, or more frequently if needed. 
  • Research and Development: Stay abreast of V2X industry trends and innovations to inform program enhancements and strategic planning.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks to program success and implement mitigation strategies to address challenges proactively. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Located in proximity to Massachusetts and near Needham/Boston area  
  • Ability to travel across the state of MA 
  • A Bachelors degree in business, engineering or relevant field of study 
  • 4 years of previous relevant project management experience is required; preferably in the solar, energy efficiency, stationary storage, or charging infrastructure fields 
  • Excellent organizational and scheduling skills  
  • Client management experience  
  • Highly motivated with the ability to be flexible and move seamlessly among tasks as priorities shift  
  • Excellent word, excel, outlook and power point skills; Asana, Smartsheets or equivalent a bonus  
  • Superior interpersonal/client skills; ability to handle confidential and sensitive information  
  • High degree of inter-cultural sensitivity and inclusiveness 
  • Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.

Preferred skills, education and experience

  • Experience with stakeholder engagement / familiarity with organizations across the state of Massachusetts 
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification preferred  
  • Experience working with governmental clients and/or agencies 
  • Previous automotive, solar, stationary storage, or EV charging program management experience
