About the Role

The Senior Program Officer, Decarbonization will play a key role in helping Enterprise Community Partners transform affordable housing development practices to make homes climate resilient and lead the transition to a low-carbon economy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project manage the Affordable Housing Decarbonization Hub project, a joint initiative between Enterprise, Housing Partnership Network, and RMI, ensuring compliance with the project plan and budget.
  • Lead Colorado Electrification Hub enhancements, in partnership with Building Resilient Futures team, Enterprise Rocky Mountain team, and CHFA, achieving high satisfaction rates of the Steering Committee.
  • Project manage the Building America contract for Equitable Decarbonization of Colorado Affordable Housing project, coordinating staff and partner activities to achieve workplan milestones and deliverables.
  • Support outreach and education with Power Forward Communities' multifamily market building program, developing communications campaigns, education strategies, and direct support to affordable housing stakeholders and impacted community members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated commitment to racial equity and social justice.
  • Minimum of four years of project management experience, preferably in community development and/or climate action.
  • Excellent project management skills, strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with affordable housing and/or community development, building decarbonization, energy efficiency, and/or high-performance approaches.

Total Rewards
