Performs work safely to prevent on‐the‐job injuries by following Company and OSHA safety rules and regulations, understanding machine safeguards, recognizing, and reporting safety hazards, wearing required PPE. 2. Utilize problem‐solving skills to analyze manufacturing difficulties to determine root cause and define corrective actions in support of on‐going operational activities including increased quality and reduced cost. 3. Prioritize projects to align with the goals of the organization. 4. Review the progress of all active projects on a consistent basis and work to maintain overall timelines. 5. Participate in the development and documentation of manufacturing processes and writing of technical reports. This includes current processes and the implementation of new processes. 6. Assist in the implementation of World‐Class Principles ﴾i.e.: T.Q.M., Kanban, Demand Flow, and Cellular Manufacturing﴿ to improve customer satisfaction and reduce waste. 7. Be able to adapt and function in an environment of changing goals and priorities often under tight time constraints. 8. Maintain close contact with associated engineering groups, project teams and business units in other facilities. 9. Provide leadership, direction, technical support, training, and assistance to other manufacturing staff members as well as mentorship and assistance of other engineers. 10. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering from an ABET accredited institution or program with three ﴾3﴿ years of direct work experience or an Engineering degree from a related field and five ﴾5﴿ years of relevant work experience. Must possess project team experience and demonstrated ability to communicate and contribute with all cross functional members, staff members and outside consultants. Demonstrate strong technical, analytical, planning and organizational skills. Ability to facilitate complex projects and solutions. Ability to work with all internal departments, plants and facilities as well as outside vendors of finished goods and suppliers of components. FANUC robot experience is a plus.
