The Senior Manufacturing Engineer plays a pivotal role in providing engineering and technical support within a medical device production environment. This encompasses all facets of product manufacturing, including equipment, processes, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in machining techniques, specifically with Swiss lathes and vertical machining centers.
  • Utilization of SolidWorks for designing and constructing fixtures to facilitate device assembly.
  • Creation of technical documentation to outline work instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer production support across all manufacturing operations.
  • Identify and implement process enhancements, along with training for operators.
  • Engage in quality assurance activities, including CAPA and NCR investigations, as well as root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate on projects involving external vendors for automation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to projects aligned with strategic objectives.
Qualifications for Success:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline, accompanied by a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Experience in technical writing, SolidWorks, and fixture design.
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
