Job Purpose:
We are seeking a skilled an experienced Data, Risk, or Compliance Analyst to join a progressive and forward-thinking Compliance Department that is dedicated to making a difference by supporting our global businesses and promoting compliance and integrity throughout our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a college degree in business, auditing, or data analytics and will develop and have a passion for helping measure and sustain effective global compliance programs. This role will support the global Compliance team by developing compliance tools and resources to improve effectiveness and efficiency and will be responsible for data governance, compliance monitoring, and evaluating the effectiveness of our global compliance programs.
The successful candidate will work from one of ADM’s offices located in Decatur, IL, Chicago, IL, Erlanger, KY or Alpharetta, GA.
Main Responsibilities:

Utilize data analysis techniques to identify gaps, trends, patterns, and anomalies related to compliance and ethics matters. Develop and maintain compliance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of our compliance programs. Perform continuous monitoring procedures. Provide oversight and governance of the Global Whistleblower Helpline and other compliance applications.  Preparation of compliance reports and dashboards for the Board of Directors, Senior Management, the business, and Compliance. Conduct regular effectiveness reviews and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Support internal compliance investigations. Maintain a strong understanding of our compliance programs. Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices. Qualifications / Experience Bachelor’s degree in business, auditing, data analytics, or related field. Minimum of three years of experience in compliance, audit, risk management, or related field. Strong data analytics skills, including proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of compliance programs or internal audit procedures.  Must be fluent in English with excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working in or supporting an international business is strongly preferred. Familiarity with anti-corruption, antitrust, data privacy and trade compliance laws and regulations. Experience supporting investigations is desirable. High level of motivation, team-player mindset, and results-oriented way of working. Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite. Organized and adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously. Able to maintain confidentiality and act in a critical position of trust within the company. Core Competencies: Research – Must have the ability to conduct detailed research on a variety of topics using the internet and other publicly available resources.  Project Management – Must be able to manage several projects and ensure completion to agreed deadlines. Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to take sound critical decisions on whether or not to engage potential business partners based on the results of due diligence reviews.  Working under Pressure - Must have the ability to stay firm and collected under pressure and manage completion of tasks in line with established guidelines and procedures.  Communication – Must have strong communication, negotiation, and training skills to communicate effectively with colleagues, senior management, and business partners. Must be able to communicate negative results and reasons to business units and senior management. Must, through excellent interpersonal skills, have the ability to bring about organizational change.  Concern for Quality – Demonstrates a high standard of quality in their work.
