We are hiring an Senior Order Administrator for Vergennes, Vermont. This position is directly responsible for supporting the corporation's goals through effective and efficient administration of customer sales orders, related information, and processes from contract award through shipment, billing, close-out and archiving of sales orders.

Primary Responsibilities:

Sales orders are managed by working closely with the Contracts team from contract award through contract close-out, and the eventual archiving of sales orders The Order Administration group works closely with various roles such as Contract Managers, Value Stream Management, Master Schedulers, Shipping Personnel, Quality, Production Operations, Engineering, and Import/Export Compliance, in addition to other roles The goal is to ensure customer orders are accurately entered through SAP to drive Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and other activities to ensure customer requirements are achieved The selected individual will possess the skills necessary to manage orders through the contract lifecycle by working with their assigned Contracts teams and those previously mentioned This is completed through the change management process as a means of ensuring contractual information is reflected accurately and timely in SAP. Being proficient with SAP is a must The Order Administrator performs in a self-directed environment, making decisions that affect sales, profit, and on-time delivery performance Duties are moderately complex, detailed, and time sensitive which require knowledge of contract, purchase order & delivery order structures, customer requirements, invoicing, and quality processes Strong communication and computer skills are necessary, particularly the ability to manage and analyze business information using Microsoft Office applications, Teams, Outlook, and other additional tools The ability to communicate effectively with a variety of internal customers is a must

Qualifications / Experience Needed:

Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous knowledge/experience with SAP Previous knowledge/experience with MS Office Suite Previous experience working with Customer Contracts is a plus
