Job Description: We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Office Assistant to join our team in New York City. The Office Assistant will provide essential support to Daily Dot Art's office operations, assisting with various administrative tasks, office management duties, and coordination of office activities. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about contributing to a dynamic team environment.

Pay range:

$18.50 to $28.00 per hour.


Responsibilities:


Greet visitors, answer phones, and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner, directing calls and messages to appropriate staff members and departments as needed.Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings, coordinating calendars, making reservations, and preparing meeting materials and agendas.Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries, including sorting, distributing, and processing mail and packages, and coordinating with shipping and courier services as necessary.Assist with procurement and inventory management of office supplies, equipment, and materials, including ordering supplies, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating equipment maintenance and repairs.Assist with basic accounting tasks, such as processing invoices, expense reports, and reimbursements, and tracking office expenses against budget allocations.





High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or relevant coursework preferred.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanor in interacting with visitors, callers, and colleagues.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other office software applications, as well as basic accounting software and databases.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively as part of a team, to achieve common goals and objectives.
