Amazon is looking for a Program Manager with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own strategic, tactical, cross-functional and technology projects and programs across multiple verticals. This role requires scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks and process/product changes. Amazon supports vendors, sellers, and third-party partners around the globe. As a Program Manager with Amazon, you will have the opportunity to develop the business requirements and influence the success of these partners. In this role, you will own operational programs related to our vendors, and third-party partners and work to resolve operational issues. As a program manager you will work cross-functionally to drive customer centric programs. This role requires a deep need for stakeholder management, an ability to synthesize data and information, and communication across internal and external partners.

Key job responsibilities
- Manage and oversee various cross-functional programs, ensuring successful delivery.

The Global Mile team is looking for a candidate for the role of Program Manager- Cross Border Carrier Management. In this role the candidate will understand Amazons Fulfillment Network and will develop optimized processes to handle exports shipments to connected countries via ground shipping options. They will develop a process path to enable a cost effective fast delivery service to our customers in neighboring countries clearing Customs and delivering through the last mile. The candidate will use experience and knowledge of transportation operations across global mile, customs and last mile. This person will use knowledge of data an analysis tools, standard deviation fundamentals and graphical data presentation models to highlight wins and misses. This person will develop action plans and process improvements as a result of those plans.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
- Experience with third party vendor or carrier integration, contract management, or performance management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
