We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Manager to lead our Global Reliability, Maintenance & Engineering (RME) Safety organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to ensure the safety of our technicians, contractors, and Amazon associates.
Key Responsibilities- Develop Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including RME, WHS, Procurement, Ops Engineering, Research & Design, Risk, Loss Prevention, and Legal to drive safety initiatives and reduce risk.
- Lead Global Safety Team: Manage a team of direct reports to provide safety support to RME in all business units globally.
- Develop Safety Strategies: Work with RME senior leadership to develop forward-looking strategies to reduce our safety risk profile to an acceptable level.
- Establish Safety Metrics: Develop and track key safety metrics to drive improvements in RME safety performance.
- Drive Safety Ownership: Establish engagement programs to make safety personal and drive ownership among RME employees.
- Deliver Safety Training: Develop and deliver new global RME safety training programs.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate with the WW WHS Compliance and Governance team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Build Safety Tools: Develop and implement electronic tools for technicians to perform dynamic risk assessments in real-time.
- 10+ Years of Team Management Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational, Health and Safety (OSH), Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS), finance or procurement related fields
- 10+ Years of Work Experience in OSH, EHS, finance or procurement, contractor management, contractor safety, or providing direct oversight for 3rd party services/contractors
- Experience as a People Leader with Success in Developing, Promoting, or Managing Direct Reports
