Consumer Operations Execution Professional

In this role, you’ll experience new things, create new opportunities, think beyond your role, and make an impact. As the Consumer Operations Execution Professional, you will report to the head of Process Improvement and Escalations within Transaction Processing. You will be responsible for reviewing and resolving reconciliation exception items. Additionally, the work requires analysis of exception items in order to support the identification of root causes and make process improvement recommendations to prevent or reduce future exceptions. This role will collaborate with internal functions such as Consumer Accounting, Recovery and Reconciliation Control. You will be responsible for driving forward initiatives that impact the overall business, ensuring that the solution can enable the business to achieve the intended outcome and understanding the organizational impact of change. Most importantly, you’ll feel valued for who you are and supported to achieve what’s important to you, personally and professionally

Primary responsibilities include:

Research and resolve daily reconciliation exceptions Identify process gaps causing exceptions and/or process improvements  Identify, report themes/trends and investigate unusual transactions that may require further examination  Collaborate with internal functions to address issues and recommend end-to-end process improvements  Deliver recurring and ad-hoc data and reporting on the status of exception items and actions to resolve Support management with the identification, tracking, and remediation of issues  Support creation/updating of comprehensive job aids, procedures related to researching and resolving exceptions Attend/facilitate working sessions/status meetings Escalate issues to team manager to ensure prompt resolution

Qualifications 

3-5 years of previous work experience in an accounting or loan servicing capacity preferably with consumer lending and/or deposit products.  Strong Microsoft Office application skills Experience with loan servicing system applications Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills Outstanding organizational skills and strong attention to detail

Hours & Work Schedule

Full time, Monday - Friday Hybrid /3 days in office in Riverside, RI
