East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is in search of a full-time Executive Vice President of Operations for our organization.
The Executive Vice President of Operations is accountable for directing and overseeing a comprehensive range of services and initiatives at EBCAP.
This role will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and will serve as the designated representative of the organization in the absence of the Chief Executive Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
The Executive Vice President of Operations will supervise six senior leaders across our locations, managing a workforce of over 500.
The EVP will innovate new programs as needs arise and will oversee/support the following areas:
licensure, accreditations, compliance with human rights, personnel decisions, and financial objectives.
Ensure EBCAP's services adhere to all federal, state, funding, and municipal regulations, certifications, and licensing requirements.
Assist the CEO and Director of Development in strategizing, organizing, and executing public and private fundraising initiatives and campaigns.
Qualifications:
A Master's Degree is preferred; however, a Bachelor's degree is required. Degrees in Social Work, Nonprofit Administration, or Public Administration are highly regarded.
A minimum of fifteen (15) years of successful executive experience in an organization of similar size and complexity.
Proven ability to engage effectively, appropriately, and professionally with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Establish and maintain relationships with various constituencies, both internal and external, including government agencies, funding sources, and the media.
Lead and strategically create, plan, share, and implement the organization's vision.For Full-Time Employees working 30 – 40 hours per week, EBCAP offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes heavily subsidized medical and dental insurance plans, supplemental vision insurance, voluntary medical and dependent care flexible spending accounts, up to 3% of company matching 403(b) retirement plan, employer-paid life insurance & long-term disability, generous paid time off that encompasses vacation/holidays/personal days/sick time, mileage reimbursement, tuition reimbursement, opportunities for center-paid training/CEUs, and an employee assistance program.
