Job description

BIG Language seeks a talented, highly organized, and detail focused Project Coordinator to join our team of rockstars. Project Coordinators are tasked with the coordination of Translation Projects, as well as facilitating vendor relationships and various related tasks. Under direction of Leadership, Project Coordinators will be responsible for prioritizing the projects and working toward their successful completion in a timely manner. The right candidate will be able to fulfill all essential duties and responsibilities provided within this job description.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with Microsoft Office and it’s applications 

Experience with QA/QC/Final proofing 

Ability to speak/read/write any of the following languages: Arabic, Armenian, Bengali, Burmese, Farsi, Gujarati, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Lao, Mongolian, Russian, Somali, Spanish, Tagalog, Telugu, Thai, Traditional Chinese, or Vietnamese. This is PREFERRED, NOT REQUIRED 


REQUIREMENTS:   

Must be able to speak/read/write English fluently 

Must have a reliable internet connection 

Detail-oriented, organized, accurate, and able to work quickly and steadily in a focused manner

Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment

Ability to follow verbal directions

Ability to deal with frequent change, delays, interruptions, and unexpected events

Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision

Working knowledge of various computer-aided translation tools or ability and desire to learn quickly ‘ 

Must possess great time management skills to ensure deadlines are properly met 

Ability to multitask 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in coordinating fast paced projects, including resource allocation and collaboration 

Maintaining and adhering to project schedules and timelines

Facilitate relationships with vendors and all members of the localization team

 Quality assurance checks of returned translated material based on strict documentation and guidelines

POSITION DETAILS: 

Location: Remote, International 

Contract Duration: Mid July to Mid-Late October 

Contract/Task Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00PM PST

Industry: Translation & Localization 

*Rate is subjective based on experience, training, education and location. There are some situations where the rate could be outside the notated range.
