Job Description:

This opening is for an Operations Management Supervisor within the Logistics organization. The candidate will be responsible for the operations of multiple functions within a production environment. The qualified candidate will be responsible for coordinating and interfacing with Manufacturing areas, Material Program Managers, Customers, and bargaining unit employees. Candidates will be responsible for assigning tasks to employees relating to the performance of daily activities such as tool/inventory control, internal material deliveries, warehouse operations and production order processing activities.

Candidates must possess an attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position will have direct reports and will support various work groups/teams. Requirements of this position include the direct management of multiple personnel within various production areas, as well as the management and oversight for activities while maintaining adequate response times and monitoring of cycle times.

Essential Functions:

Experience within a production environment Personnel management, including bargaining unit employees Inventory management Hazardous Materials shipping experience Data analysis and cycle time/metric performance management

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years SAP experience within management, including warehouse/inventory management Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of direct work experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience. Secret clearance (or ability to obtain one)

Preferred Additional Skills:

Strong communication skills Computer experience with Microsoft Office (Excel & Word) Ability to navigate electronic files Critical thinking skills such as the ability to resolve inventory discrepancies
