Managing Director, Internal Communications and Change Management

The Managing Director is responsible for ensuring employees are informed about company updates, policies and changes. The incumbent keeps the team aligned with organizational goals.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:- Develops and implements a comprehensive internal communications strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and values.
- Leads the development of communication plans for key initiatives, projects, and change efforts.
- Oversees the creation and distribution of internal communications materials, including emails, newsletters, intranet content, videos, and presentations.
- Collaborates with senior leaders and stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across the organization.
- Manages the organization's internal communications channels and platforms to ensure effective communication and engagement.
- Leads change management efforts to support organizational initiatives, including change readiness assessments, stakeholder engagement, and communication planning.
- Provides leadership and guidance to a team of internal communications and change management professionals.
- Measures and evaluates the effectiveness of internal communications and change management efforts and make recommendations for improvement.
- Creates and strengthens two-way channels for leadership/employee dialogue through surveys, focus groups, etc.
- Drives brand messages to actionable states within various ChenMed communities>
- Conceives and executes new ways to hear the voice of the customer, such as virtual trade shows, message boards, or other means by which you have been effective.
- Implements a communication cascade model to ensure consistent messaging is delivered to employees in multiple locations and geographies.
- Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.
- Expert-level business acuity
- Expert knowledge and understanding of general/core job-related functions, practices, processes, procedures, techniques and methods
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful internal communications strategies and change management plans
- Strong writing/editing/storytelling skills, with ability to craft clear/compelling messages for diverse audiences
- Superior listening skills
- Superior, proven interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience managing a team of communications and change management professionals.
- Knowledge of best practices in internal communications, change management, and employee engagement
- Proficient skill in Microsoft Office Suite products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; competent in other systems required for the position
- Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally and/or nationally up to 20% of the time; flexible to work evening, weekends and/or holidays as needed
- Spoken and written fluency in English
- This job requires use and exercise of independent judgment
Bachelor's degree in communications, organizational development, business, or a related field OR additional experience above the minimum may be considered in lieu of the required education on a year-for-year basis
Master's degree is preferred
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in internal communications, change management, or a related field, with at least five (5) years in a leadership role
