The Managing Director is responsible for ensuring employees are informed about company updates, policies and changes. The incumbent keeps the team aligned with organizational goals.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develops and implements a comprehensive internal communications strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and values.
  • Leads the development of communication plans for key initiatives, projects, and change efforts.
  • Oversees the creation and distribution of internal communications materials, including emails, newsletters, intranet content, videos, and presentations.
  • Collaborates with senior leaders and stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across the organization.
  • Manages the organization's internal communications channels and platforms to ensure effective communication and engagement.
  • Leads change management efforts to support organizational initiatives, including change readiness assessments, stakeholder engagement, and communication planning.
  • Provides leadership and guidance to a team of internal communications and change management professionals.
  • Measures and evaluates the effectiveness of internal communications and change management efforts and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Creates and strengthens two-way channels for leadership/employee dialogue through surveys, focus groups, etc.
  • Drives brand messages to actionable states within various ChenMed communities>
  • Conceives and executes new ways to hear the voice of the customer, such as virtual trade shows, message boards, or other means by which you have been effective.
  • Implements a communication cascade model to ensure consistent messaging is delivered to employees in multiple locations and geographies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Expert-level business acuity
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of general/core job-related functions, practices, processes, procedures, techniques and methods
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful internal communications strategies and change management plans
  • Strong writing/editing/storytelling skills, with ability to craft clear/compelling messages for diverse audiences
  • Superior listening skills
  • Superior, proven interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience managing a team of communications and change management professionals.
  • Knowledge of best practices in internal communications, change management, and employee engagement
  • Proficient skill in Microsoft Office Suite products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; competent in other systems required for the position 
  • Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally and/or nationally up to 20% of the time; flexible to work evening, weekends and/or holidays as needed
  • Spoken and written fluency in English
  • This job requires use and exercise of independent judgment

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, organizational development, business, or a related field OR additional experience above the minimum may be considered in lieu of the required education on a year-for-year basis 

  • Master's degree is preferred

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in internal communications, change management, or a related field, with at least five (5) years in a leadership role
