Job Summary:

The Development Division Residential Landscape Manager is responsible for the overall management and supervision of the residential landscape operations within the Development Division, under the supervision of the Director of Landscape. This includes developing and implementing short and long-term landscape strategies, as well as planning, coordinating, and supervising all aspects of residential landscape development. This position is also responsible for ensuring the safety, quality, and timely completion of all projects while maintaining the company's standard and quality of work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor short and long-term landscape strategies for residential landscaping.
  • Plan and organize landscape projects, including scheduling and coordinating personnel and resources.
  • Supervise and direct landscape staff in the planning, and installation,  of residential landscapes.
  • Monitor the quality, cost, and timeline of projects to ensure the successful completion of each project.
  • Prepare and manage the budget for landscape projects.
  • Evaluate and recommend products, services, and materials for residential landscapes.
  • Prepare/maintain detailed reports/records of all landscape operations and activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Two years in a management role in landscaping
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Ability to develop strong professional relationships
  • Business and financial knowledge including budgeting, planning and scheduling.
  • Creative problem-solving
  • Basic Microsoft skills by the use of Excel and other software to analyze data
  • Knowledge of Management best practices
  • Provide hands-on leadership with daily landscape projects
  • Valid driver's license with a good three-year driving record required
