Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Senior Landscape Architecture Manager within our North Carolina division. This position will involve taking on a first-level management role with mentorship from senior leadership.

Your role will encompass supervising and training team members while continuing your professional development in project management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct oversight and leadership for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations.
  • Manage project financials, optimizing resource allocation and budget management to enhance profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Develop comprehensive project scope, schedule, and budget, integrating them into actionable work plans to improve project execution.
  • Identify necessary resources and effectively delegate tasks, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Address scope, schedule, and budget discrepancies in collaboration with management and clients, maintaining positive relationships.
  • Review and approve deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards and enhancing project outcomes.
  • Contribute to proposal development, utilizing project successes to secure new opportunities and drive growth.
  • Support the expansion of park and recreation initiatives across the Carolinas.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Professional Landscape Architect (PLA) or Registered Landscape Architect (RLA) certification required.
  • 10+ years of experience managing land development projects, with a preference for park and recreation or institutional projects.
  • Proficient in site, grading, stormwater, and planting design.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities for efficient decision-making.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities, inspiring team members to achieve project goals.
  • Commitment to high ethical standards and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Customer-centric approach, prioritizing client satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Strong networking skills to identify potential clients and business development opportunities.
  • Understanding of the planning and design process, including the preparation of project deliverables.
