Basic Qualifications

Proficiency in Python is highly favored. Experience in other object-oriented programming languages such as Java, Ruby, PHP, C# or C++ acceptable.  Experience in test framework design and development. Experience with agile testing methodologies and best practices. Experience with Systems Engineering.  Ability to analyze Logical Requirements and Technology Requirements. Ability to analyze and communicate test results and defect details. Ability to participate in performance and load test efforts. Experience in planning, creating, and controlling test environments and test data. Ability to participate in the review of test procedures and processes and provide feedback for improvement. Ability to understand project architecture and high-level design, low level design and network architecture. Ability to author testability and debugging requirements at a technology level for development teams to expose testability APIs based on feature logical requirements. Ability to author, maintain and expand test suites to validate Logical and Technology Requirements. Knowledge of release, change and configuration management. Ability to develop automation test strategy, plan and approach. Demonstrated functional, non-functional and manual testing knowledge. Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience. 5+ year proficiency in a programming language like Python, C#, C++, or Java Extensive experience with Requirements Engineering or Electrical Architecture or Software Architectures. Experience with embedded system testing. Proven aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving. Detail oriented and adept at detecting and diagnosing software defects. Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in modern software development methodology, such as pair programming, test-first/test-driven development OR demonstrated delivery of singular focus programming. Demonstrated success creating evolutionary architectures with appropriate operational characteristics: scale, reliability, security, performance, etc. Project leader for the execution of strategies for test design, planning and execution methods, and automation scripts used for requirements verification purposes, at multiple integration / solution levels. Guide and contribute to incident resolutions and reporting, including Preventive Actions implementations into the Test Strategy. Guide and contribute to defining Test Management Strategies (tools and processes selection / creation) used by the test teams on the planning, execution, and reporting phases. Promote code artisanship best practices, quality and security standards; and ability to lead/contribute to the improvement of them. advanced professional experience with Software / Requirement Verification projects (Test Suite and Automation solutions for multiple Verification / Validation scopes and Integration levels). experience in architecting and implementing Test Strategies. experience proposing technical direction for Design Verification framework solutions.
