Job Title: Software Development Engineer - Test

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer - Test to join our team at Intelliswift. As a key member of our product development organization, you will play a crucial role in building next-generation in-vehicle driver experiences for our mobile delivery application.

Our mobile applications work in concert with our advanced logistics systems and predictive analytics to provide a seamless delivery experience for our customers. We are looking for an individual with a passion for making development teams more efficient and productive.

An ideal candidate will have experience building test infrastructure that validates multi-tier mobile applications, working with groups such as Product Management, Quality, and Development to understand customer usage models and technical implementation.

In addition, the candidate should be aware of different testing methodologies like UI testing, API testing, device performance and stability testing, etc.


Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain an automated test infrastructure for a multi-platform product that will be used to validate all aspects of the product operation.
  • Evaluate product functionality and create test automation strategies and test coverage to assess product quality.
  • Integrate with SCM infrastructure to establish a continuous build and test cycle.
  • Establish processes and tools set to maintain automation scripts and generate regular test reports.
  • Lead the automation of large-scale systems, create technical design documentation and drive continuous improvements to the quality assurance processes.
  • Communicate with engineering teams, partnering with technical teams to gather requirements, and with management to provide regular detailed status reports on project progress.
  • Estimate and communicate project timelines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years of experience working as a Software Development Engineer.
  • 2+ years experience in a test or development lead role as part of a product development organization which has delivered consumer-oriented products.
  • Experience in writing automated scripts that test back-end services and frontend mobile applications for functionality, performance, and stability.
  • Knowledge of QA methodology and tools.
  • Experience with Java/Perl/Python/JavaScript/Swift/Kotlin scripting or any modern object-oriented programming language.
