This position will be in direct contact with Spanish speaking patients to help determine their needs and appropriate referrals, as well as assist with interpreting for Patient Advocates. It offers an individual a rewarding opportunity to minister in a dynamic and growing evangelistic ministry. RESPONSIBILITIESProvides patient advocacy care to patientsInterprets for Patient Advocates with Spanish speaking patientsActs as a backup for in-person interpreter requestsMaintains relevant knowledge of resources to appropriate referralsMaintains current and accurate patient dataAssists the front desk receptionist as neededAssists with administrative duties needed for proper functioning of a medical officeMay require working from one of multiple centersParticipates in staff development events and volunteer in-servicesParticipation by all staff is required at Life Network's major eventsEXPERIENCEHigh school diploma2-3 years of related experienceSpanish speaking requiredQUALIFICATIONSStrong advocate for sanctity of life issuesPossesses Christian testimony with evidence of Christian maturity in personal and professional lifeActive commitment in a local churchA passion for the ministry accomplished through Life Network and a heart for reaching the lost of our community/world with the GospelTeachable spirit and functions well in a team environmentExceptional interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, both oral and writtenPossesses a high degree of professionalism and maturitySelf-motivated and attention to detailEfficient, organized, and able to prioritize workComputer skills in Microsoft Office applications and Internet savvyAptitude to learn software programs and systemsFlexible in unanticipated and unusual situationsCLASSIFICATIONPart-time at 16-24 hours per week. Pay range is $15.00 to $18.00. Reports to Pregnancy Center Director.This position is eligible for paid time off, holiday pay, and retirement plan match. Scheduled hours may include evenings and Saturdays with flexibility to travel between locations.
