TMC, a LinQuest company is seeking a Principal Quality Specialist I to join our team in our office in Colorado Springs, CO. An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required Description: The Principal Quality Specialist I manages the day-to-day operations of the quality management system and is responsible for overall QMS scope, processes, methodologies, and improvements. Responsibilities: * Responsible for the performance and review of the QMS including Key Performance Indicators and how they are functioning, including how they are improving or regressing.
* Monitor the overall QMS objectives and customer deliverables based on established quality standards as defined by AS9100D regulations.
* Responsible for internal audits and facilitates audits run by an outside organization for AS9100 certification.
* Inspect products and recording results
* Develop, implement, and manage processes and policies to ensure products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery
* Continuously improve policies, procedures, and processes through understanding Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action
* In-process and final inspection of product and integration activities
* Schedule, plan, and execute internal audits to AS9100 standards, including writing internal audit reports and presenting this, and other relevant QMS information, in quarterly Management Review meetings.
* Create, verify, and track Corrective Actions, including tracking Corrective Action Reports and verifying corrective action efficiency.
* Create, review, and update QMS processes and procedures to verify current applicability
* Track company metrics through collaboration with Engineering Teams and Management Teams.
* Approve external vendors to allow procurement for equipment used in product creation, including the filing of vendor documentation (certifications, Supplier Assessment forms, etc.) on SharePoint.
* Create filing and tracking document numbers for use on official documentat
* Create Quality Briefs and training materials to keep staff aware of the QMS
* Communicate quality standards, established parameters, and changes to the QMS to Top Management, Engineering Team, and other appropriate staff
* Facilitate solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data
* Help define improve and implement continuous improvement across the entire QMS
* Keep records of quality reports and relevant documentation
* Work autonomously with customers
* Analyze situations and uses good judgement
* Understand company and customer requirements
* Protect sensitive data
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience * 10+ years’ experience actively participating in or managing an AS9100 certified quality management system
* Bachelor’s degree in related field
* Experience in a manufacturing environment
* Working knowledge of lean manufacturing and 5S methodology
* Knowledge of manufacturing tools and the maintenance/calibration of measuring equipment
* An active and maintained Department of Defense (DoD) top secret security clearance and eligible to receive and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) TS/SCI, if required
* Demonstrated ability to write well, providing clear, concise descriptions and instructions in well-wrought English.
* Demonstrated proficiency with writing, layout and illustration software tools such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.
* Working experience with MIL-STD style guides such as MIL-STD 40051-2C.
* Strong Microsoft Office experience
* Strong communication and Organization skills
* Efficient time manager and decisive
* Must possess and maintain a TS security clearance

Compensation: The salary for this position ranges from approximately $90,000 to $115,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications. Why LinQuest?
