Huckestein Mechanical was acquired by Service Logic in 2019. Huckestein is a mechanical and engineering contractor based in Pittsburgh, PA serving western Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio and northern West Virginia. Job Description
Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Dispatcher/Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Huckestein Mechanical Services, a leading commercial HVAC service provider. The Service Dispatcher/Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless coordination of field technicians, efficient allocation of resources, and timely response to client service requests. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a solid understanding of HVAC systems and service procedures.
Responsibilities:
Dispatch and Scheduling:
Receive and prioritize service requests from clients via phone, email, or service management software.
Efficiently schedule and dispatch field technicians based on geographic location, expertise, and availability.
Monitor technician schedules to ensure optimal resource allocation and on-time arrivals.
Resource Management:
Coordinate with the Service Manager to allocate appropriate resources, tools, and equipment for scheduled jobs.
Maintain accurate records of technician assignments, work orders, and service history for each client.
Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, technicians, and internal teams regarding service inquiries, updates, and scheduling changes.
Provide clients with timely updates on technician arrival times, job progress, and completion.
Problem Solving:
Identify and address scheduling conflicts, emergency service requests, and unforeseen challenges in real-time.
Collaborate with technicians and managers to troubleshoot on-site issues and find effective solutions.
Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive records of service requests, work orders, and technician notes in the company's service management software.
Generate and distribute accurate reports on technician performance, job completion, and customer satisfaction.
Customer Service:
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients to foster repeat business.
Technical Support:
Possess a solid understanding of HVAC systems and technical terminology to effectively communicate with technicians and clients.
Quality Control:
Perform follow-up calls with clients after service completion to gather feedback and assess overall satisfaction.
Monitor and evaluate technician performance, adherence to service standards, and compliance with safety protocols.
