Position Responsibilities:
Building deep and lasting relationships with new or existing customers in order to ensure customers buy or renew the existing products and expand into other products
Understanding the business problems being faced by Customers and position products as the solutions Working in partnership with the Customer Care and/or Account Management Teams in order to ensure customer satisfaction with their products and uncover opportunities for further products
Expanding the reach and understanding of customer organizations in order to uncover business problems outside of the areas we currently have products in
Developing and maintain a Gold Sheet Account plan for each customer within assigned Territory
Identifying and mitigate competitive pressure in assigned customers to remove the threat of customer churn to competitors
For Regional Sales Consultants focused on new business gather, organize, analyze and interpret sales opportunity information in assigned territory to create an ongoing Territory Business Plan to meet or exceed established sales quota and company revenue and profit targets annually including working closely with sales support to develop and pre-qualify leads
Identifying at risk customers and engage proper internal resources to assess and resolve risk factors.
Identifying key targets in assigned territory, qualify targeted opportunities and document key targets’ needs and appropriate corresponding solutions.
Identifying and work consistently with key buying influencers and decision makers in targeted opportunities to evaluate customer need/perceived value, competitive pressure and financial/timing risk.
Creating demand for solutions by reframing customer challenges into value propositions that are unique to their solutions.
Building long-term, productive, and mutually beneficial relationships with existing customers
Maintaining consistent communication and timely follow-up with customers and be available and responsive to customer’s real-time needs.
Working effectively with internal support departments (Marketing, Customer Engagement, and Product Development) to promote sales for existing customers to maximize the company’s visibility with hospitals, executives and professional associations.
Fully use sales tools and CRM to track and document all interaction with customers and prospects including maintaining accurate contacts (adding and updating as needed), tracking activity including emails, remote and on-site meetings, meeting notes and associated documentation including discovery agreements, success plans and proposals. Maintain accurate and complete data on all opportunities including sales stage and funnel positions, close dates, weekly reporting and product and price data.
Working with Marketing to promote them within the wider market
Creating demand for solutions by reframing customer challenges into value propositions that are unique to their solutions.
Identifying and mitigate competitive pressure in assigned territory by utilizing Marketing and other Regional Sales Consultant resources. Also share competitive successes with Marketing and other Regional Sales Consultants
Requires regular travel to customer site, estimating between 40-60%
Experience & Skills:
Required Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 7+ years' Sales Support experience including sales operations and reporting
Microsoft office and CRM software - Microsoft Dynamics knowledge preferred
Dependability and a results-oriented mindset
Financial acumen and ability to translate financial data into sound business recommendations and ability to analyze data
Ability to Demonstrate knowledge of key processes, business initiatives and internal resources
Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
Good leadership and communication skills with the ability to deliver across own function and the broader business, has a focus on stakeholder management both internally and externally
Experience of managing Sales Support
Time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
Compensation $120k-$150k,
