Job Description

This role is within the Research department and will be responsible for assisting the current research staff in day-to-day tasks of designing, running, and analyzing results of experiments as the team tests new concepts and theories for the advancement of INFICON’s sensors

Specific duties include, but are not necessarily limited to:
• Support and troubleshoot research tasks and topics
• Collect, analyze and provide insight on data from experiments
• Involved in the design and development of prototypes for testing of concepts

Qualifications:
Qualifications

  • Active student with two or more years of physics, chemistry, material science, engineering, or relevant course work
  • Must be able to work well in cross-functional teams and have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must have passion, self-motivated, great attention to detail, ability to multitask, and enthusiasm for learning
  • Must be able to work in an organized manner with guidance from mentor
  • Must be able to do data analysis, graphing, summarize results, and write a report

ONE OR MORE OF THE PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge in RF Simulation
  • Knowledge on vacuum technology equipment, measurement and applications
  • Knowledge in Antenna design and RF Energy Harvesting
  • Knowledge in Split ring Resonator simulation
  • Able to perform literature research and provide insight on relevant topics

Additional Information

For New York, the expected salary range for this position is between $18.00 and $26.00 per hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.
