**Overview**

For over 50 Years, Laurel Hill Summer Camp has been one of the best summer camps in Suffolk County, Long Island. The camp is designed for children from Preschool through 10th grade, providing them with a platform to explore new skills and interests during the summer.

Our camp offers various programs such as sports, arts and crafts, drama, music, gymnastics, karate, swimming, nature exploration, games, gardening, computers, swing shot, rock climbing, and tennis. This wide-ranging program aims to cater to different interests and encourages active, engaged learning in a fun, safe environment.

We look for Camp Team Members who are enthusiastic and motivated, possess a genuine love of teaching and coaching children and teens, and are eager to work hard and play hard.

Laurel Hill Summer Camp seeks a knowledgeable and engaging Computer/Technology Teacher to introduce campers from Pre-School through Middle School to the exciting world of technology.

The Computer/Technology Teacher will develop and instruct in areas such as basic computer skills, coding, robotics, and digital arts, fostering technological fluency and creativity.

This position is an excellent opportunity for technology educators looking to inspire young minds in a fun and engaging summer camp setting.

**Position**

As the Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a dynamic, engaging experience that includes coding and programming of drones.

**Responsibilities**:

- Teach a variety of technology-based courses including coding, robotics, and digital media.
- Develop curriculum that engages and challenges students at various skill levels.
- Ensure the safe use of all technology equipment.
- Inspire a passion for technology and innovation.
- Collaborate with other camp staff to integrate technology into broader camp activities.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a technology educator.
- Familiarity with educational technology tools and software.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate young learners.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
