**Overview**

For over 50 Years, Laurel Hill Summer Camp has been one of the best summer camps in Suffolk County, Long Island. The camp is designed for children from Preschool through 10th grade, providing them with a platform to explore new skills and interests during the summer.

Our camp offers various programs such as sports, arts and crafts, drama, music, gymnastics, karate, swimming, nature exploration, games, gardening, computers, swing shot, rock climbing, and tennis. This wide-ranging program aims to cater to different interests and encourages active, engaged learning in a fun, safe environment.

We look for Camp Team Members who are enthusiastic and motivated, possess a genuine love of teaching and coaching children and teens, and are eager to work hard and play hard.

Laurel Hill Summer Camp seeks an experienced Aquatics Director to oversee our swimming programs for Preschool, Elementary and Middle School campers. They will be responsible for ensuring a safe, enjoyable aquatic environment for campers of all ages.

This position offers the chance to lead a critical area of our summer camp, ensuring safe and fun aquatic experiences for all campers.

Laurel Hill Summer Camp seeks a passionate and skilled Dance Teacher to lead our dance program. This role involves teaching various dance styles to campers from Pre-School through Middle School, fostering creativity, coordination, and a love for dance.

This role is an excellent opportunity for dance teachers to make a significant impact on young lives in a fun and energetic summer camp environment.

**Position**

As the Dance Teacher you will engage students in various dance forms including, Jazz, Hip Hop, Folk, and more

The Dance Teacher will develop and instruct dance sessions across multiple genres, creating a dynamic and inclusive environment that encourages artistic expression and physical fitness.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and teach dance lessons in various styles such as ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary.
- Choreograph routines and prepare campers for performances.
- Promote a positive and energetic environment, encouraging all campers to participate.
- Ensure the safety of all participants during dance activities.
- Collaborate with other camp staff to integrate dance into larger camp events and activities.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a dance instructor.
- Strong knowledge of dance techniques and teaching methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire children of varying ages and skill levels.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
