Overview:
Efficiency Vermont is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Account Management to lead one of our Account Management teams. This position is responsible for overseeing the management of key client accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving energy efficiency initiatives that align with our organizational goals. The Manager of Account Management will play a crucial role in maintaining strong relationships with clients, identifying opportunities for growth, and implementing strategies to optimize energy usage and savings.

Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including commercial, industrial, and institutional customers. Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and escalations.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of account managers, providing guidance, support, and training as needed. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture focused on delivering exceptional service and results.

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic account management plans to meet client needs and drive energy efficiency goals. Identify opportunities for expansion within existing accounts and develop strategies to maximize customer engagement and satisfaction.

Energy Efficiency Initiatives: Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement energy efficiency initiatives and programs tailored to the needs of key client segments. Support program performance and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track key performance metrics related to client satisfaction, program participation, and energy savings. Prepare regular reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients to communicate progress and achievements.

Market Research and Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes related to energy efficiency. Coordinate with internal teams to identify emerging opportunities and risks for our clients and organization.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Programs & Implementation, Marketing, and Engineering to ensure alignment of account management efforts with overall organizational objectives. Collaborate on integrated campaigns and initiatives to drive customer engagement and awareness.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field required.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in account management, business development, or related field.

Proven track record of building and maintaining successful client relationships, with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve goals.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.

Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive account management plans and initiatives.

Knowledge of energy efficiency principles, technologies, and industry best practices preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Ability to travel occasionally.
