Overview:
Reporting directly to and under the supervision of the Chief Operations Officer, the Regional Manager serves Mint Dentistry, its patients and employees by overseeing employee engagement and job satisfaction, driving production and exceptional patient experiences for the entire region, and operating in a motivational, proactive style. Overseeing the activities of District Managers, a successful regional manager drives customer service and values employee job satisfaction by working with their regional reports to reach their goal.

Responsibilities:
Carries themselves upon Mint Dentistry values of Love, Generosity and Perfection in all essential job functions, as well as on a daily basis by engaging proactively in the success of the company as a whole

Responsible for outcomes and success of all offices within their region and enforcing changes in and creating protocols that better the company, employees, and most importantly, our patients

Oversees the coaching, performance evaluations, training/development, leave, scheduling, timekeeping, workplace separations, personnel actions, and other HR related duties of the district managers and their reports.

Responsible for being fully aware of P&L line items, trends, and making suggestions in order to increase revenue and profitability in each office, district, and company as a whole.  

The regional manager plays an essential role in recruiting and hiring for all positions, but most importantly, the MIT position.

Ensures that each District manager is acting as “production manager” for their district ensuring that assigned offices, Treatment Coordinators, clinical and non-clinical staff are trained and are held accountable for meeting all production, profitability, patient experience, employee retention, and other goals, as assigned.  

Oversees the coordination and delivery of appropriate training for all staff within the districts and the region all together 

Oversees the dotted line management between District Managers and doctors to ensure leave requests and last minute schedule changes are managed, resolving non-clinical related issues within the office, as well as providing proper coaching in given circumstances. The Regional Manager will work closely with the COO if issues need to be resolved on an RM/COO level. 

Assist COO with doctor monthly scheduling

Conduct audits on operational dashboards, KPI’s, and other reports in order to make recommendations to COO and provide guidance to District Managers to ensure all goals are met and improvements are made to exceed desired targets, to include managing district overtime within budgets

Oversees the District Manager performance in ensuring all offices in their district deliver perfectionism within all dental services by following the patient experience protocol, monitors the incoming patient complaints for all offices and requests reports from each district manager on each complaint in effort to minimize bad reviews and complaints.  

Oversees and participates in weekly office manager meetings with a focus on building, coaching and developing a strong team of office managers who consistently meet and exceed all performance goals, confirm that District Managers act upon problems discussed in order to come up with resolutions in a timely matter.

Ensure that all new corporate policies and changes to current procedures and protocols are communicated and explained thoroughly to all District managers, to include proactively correcting violations and acknowledging outstanding acts of Love, Generosity and Perfection 

Oversee the District Managers actions of coaching and the guidance of Office Managers who are taking part in violations, ensure District Managers are recognizing acts of Love, Generosity, and Perfection within their team and using this as an example

Conduct daily “Morning Call” with prepared agendas of what is expected from District Managers on that specific day (review current district production goals and all KPI statuses, Discuss issues from previous day and solution to any problems)

Effectively communicates by being responsive to all calls, texts, and emails from all staff, including End of Day reports from District Managers

Review and approve all District Manager expense reports before forwarding to Accounts Payable

Submits daily End of Day reports to the COO by identifying problems, solutions, and updates within the region

Reviews and approves District Managers’ hours for payroll and reports to the Payroll Manager

Responsible for the completion of District Manager’s payroll, doctor “stay late” bonus, and office bonus spreadsheet

Oversees the actions of District Managers while on the opening team for new offices within their respective district
