We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Bill's on the Hill LLC. Located at the clubhouse of a golf course, our restaurant is open daily and offers a variety of food and beverage options for both golfers and event attendees. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen staff in preparing and cooking meals, as well as maintaining a clean and organized work area. Position is part-time, 3-4 days a week, and will include at least 2-3 weekdays and 1 weekend day. Additional shifts will be available for golf and private events.

Requirements

Prior experience in a kitchen setting is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.

You should have basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques. All food is prepared according to the chef'chef's recipes, you will be trained in these requirements.

Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team is essential.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary to ensure food is prepared and presented in a timely manner.

Physical stamina is required as you will be on your feet for long periods of time and may need to lift heavy objects.

Flexibility in scheduling is preferred, as shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Food safety and sanitation knowledge is a plus.

You will be expected to back up the bartender when needed, so you will need to get a server's license and pass online server training on the ATC website.

Benefits

Pay will be based upon experience. You will receive a share of any event tips (split between employees who prepare for/work an event).
