Job DescriptionJob Description

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Bill's on the Hill LLC. Located at the clubhouse of a golf course, our restaurant is open daily and offers a variety of food and beverage options for both golfers and event attendees. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen staff in preparing and cooking meals, as well as maintaining a clean and organized work area. Position is part-time, 3-4 days a week, and will include at least 2-3 weekdays and 1 weekend day. Additional shifts will be available for golf and private events.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a kitchen setting is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
  • You should have basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques. All food is prepared according to the chef'chef's recipes, you will be trained in these requirements.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team is essential.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary to ensure food is prepared and presented in a timely manner.
  • Physical stamina is required as you will be on your feet for long periods of time and may need to lift heavy objects.
  • Flexibility in scheduling is preferred, as shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Food safety and sanitation knowledge is a plus.
  • You will be expected to back up the bartender when needed, so you will need to get a server's license and pass online server training on the ATC website.

Benefits

Pay will be based upon experience. You will receive a share of any event tips (split between employees who prepare for/work an event).
