About The Role

  • This is more of a technical writer role than a traditional BA.
  • Core focus: taking complex claims processing information and creating clear, consumable documents (job aids, SOPs).
  • Will work with SMEs, ask questions, extract knowledge, and rewrite content for clarity.
  • Must be able to compare incoming data to existing documentation (Excel - basic use only; no advanced formulas).
  • Tools: Word, SharePoint, Excel (basic).
  • Work involves rewriting existing manuals; assignments already scoped through end of year.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong technical writing background.
  • Prior insurance or healthcare claims processing knowledge highly preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with SMEs and distilling technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • This position is picking up work left by a departing contractor.
  • Candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with limited direct supervision.
