OverviewWe're seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst-JDE to design, test, and deliver efficient, scalable business systems solutions across key distribution processes. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, systems design experience, and a deep understanding of business workflows in finance, sales, procurement, and warehouse operations.This role bridges the gap between business needs and technical solutions — ensuring high-quality systems that drive productivity and operational excellence.Must-Haves8+ years of systems design and testing experience, including leadership or mentorship experienceStrong understanding of core distribution processes: Sales to Cash, Procure to Pay, Accounting (AP/AR), and Warehouse ManagementProven ability to understand, document, and translate business requirements into system specificationsHands-on experience with system configuration and user testingExcellent verbal and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiencesResponsibilitiesBusiness Requirements & Analysis (20%)Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements through structured interviews and analysis.Evaluate existing systems and workflows; identify areas for process improvement.Translate requirements into clear, actionable project documentation and specifications.Support business case development and system justification from an IT perspective.Solution Design (15%)Propose innovative, technically sound solutions to complex business challenges.Collaborate with IT architects, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure compatibility and scalability.Produce feasibility studies, design documents, and system improvement proposals.Testing & Implementation (20%)Develop and manage testing schedules, scripts, and user-acceptance criteria.Lead configuration validation and ensure successful deployment with minimal business disruption.Provide feedback on new features and enhancements to optimize system functionality.User Training & Support (35%)Develop user training materials and deliver hands-on training sessions.Support teams in adopting new systems and leveraging enhancements effectively.Act as a primary liaison between business units and IT during rollout and maintenance phases.Team Leadership & Knowledge Sharing (10%)Mentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous improvement of team processes.Lead small project initiatives and cross-functional efforts as assigned.Promote best practices across the organization in system design, testing, and documentation.QualificationsEducation:Associate degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred in Information Systems, Business, or a related field.Experience:8+ years of experience in system design, testing, and business process optimizationHands-on familiarity with ERP (JD Edwards) and WMS (JDA/Blue Yonder) or similar systemsProven track record of implementing end-to-end business process improvementsSkills & Competencies:Application Configuration, Integration, and TestingBusiness Process Mapping & Requirements GatheringData Analysis and Technical DocumentationSDLC / PM Methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)Communication, Collaboration, and Stakeholder ManagementAdditional DetailsTravel:
