Guide Property Services is a mid-size management company growing fast We are looking to hire an Accounting Manager who wants to grow and succeed with us. We offer a friendly and casual work environment with performance bonuses, medical, dental, and 401k.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all day to day accounting operations for managed properties and work closely with CFO to develop, implement and maintain accounting controls, policies and practices

  • Reconcile and review reconciled bank accounts and financial statements, prepare and review journal entries and assist with budgets

  • Maintain the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections

  • Conduct cash flow forecasting and calculate cash flow distributions of the properties

  • Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding financial matters, ensuring clear and timely communication

  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a positive work environment and professional development

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

  • 5+ years accounting experience in property management

  • Proven working experience as a manager

  • Excellent client and internal communication skills

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Knowledge and fluency in Microsoft Office

  • Preferred knowledge of AppFolio property management software
