JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY

HomeRiver Group seeks a Property Management Business Development Manager to join their Charlotte, NC team. A Property Management Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving business growth by acquiring new property management clients and accounts. Key responsibilities include market research to identify opportunities, outbound outreach to potential clients like property owners and investors, leading the sales process from lead generation to contract execution, building and maintaining client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams on marketing and sales strategies. The role requires strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills, along with a self-motivated, results-driven mindset to meet aggressive sales targets and contribute to overall company growth. This is a fully remote / work from home position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Lead GenerationProspecting:

Identify and source new clients, such as property owners, investors, and agents, through market research, networking, referrals, and advertising. Candidates will be expected to self-prospect (Hunt leads).

  1. Sales Cycle Management:

Manage the complete sales cycle, including initial contact, follow-up calls and emails, in-person meetings, virtual property tours, and presenting management agreements.

  1. Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with potential and new clients, acting as the professional face of the company.

  1. Market Analysis:

Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to understand customer needs and competitor activities, informing sales strategies.

  1. ContractOnboarding:

Negotiate and execute management agreements and ensure the seamless onboarding of new clients and properties into the company's systems.

  1. StrategyReporting:

Develop and implement strategies for business growth, track sales progress using CRM systems, and provide reports to management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Sales Acumen:
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills are essential for securing new business.
  • Communication Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed to build rapport and present services effectively.
  • Organizational Skills: The ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and stay organized is crucial for handling multiple leads and prospects.
  • Self-Motivation: A self-driven and persistent individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the property management industry and real estate market is a significant advantage.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems and other business software is important for tracking leads and client information.

  • 3-5 years of sales experience required. Property Management sales experience is preferred.

  • Real Estate license for assigned territory required.
  • Must transfer Real Estate License under HomeRiver Group Brokerage
