BDR Solutions, LLC, (BDR) supports the U.S. Federal Government in successfully achieving their mission and goals. BDR is seeking a Business Requirements Specialist / Certified Scrum Master to join our growing team The duties of this position can be performed virtually from a home office however the individual will be required to support core business hours in the Eastern time zone.

Role Overview
Responsible for monitoring the scrum processes and scrum meetings and driving the agile teams through the standard ceremonies. He increases his team efficiency, motivates his team, spins, argues for changes that will ensure quality and timeliness. He ensures all agile concepts are being completed in the program.
Responsibilities
- Guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers.
- Guiding the team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks.
- Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.
- Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
- Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.
- Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
- Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
- Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
- Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially on grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
- Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible and leading by example.
Required Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS preferably in engineering or business-related discipline.
- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- 5+ years of experience in Federal government as a Scrum Master on similar project.
- Must be detail oriented and able to effectively document and communicate details.
- Must have outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) and be able to maintain relationships in a positive and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work remotely from home with a high degree of accountability.
In addition, U.S Citizenship is required. Select applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and be able to obtain a government-granted security clearance. Individuals may also be subject to a background investigation including, but not limited to criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.
