Position Summary:
Anywhere Clinic is seeking a dedicated and passionate Psychiatric Physician Assistant for our Colorado location. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our mission while embodying the core values of Anywhere Clinic. This is a full remote role, and will remain as such unless telehealth laws change drastically.
This role offers an opportunity for independent contribution as a 1099 contractor. Providers begin at a competitive pay rate of $85.00 per scheduled hour of patient care at any Anywhere Clinic location. For Telemed shifts, compensation grows incrementally by $5 per hour, reaching a cap of $95.00 per scheduled hour within the first year.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- The role will include seeing and treating patients independently within requested schedule times for a minimum of two (2) hours a shift.
- The work days and hours may vary in certain circumstances and holiday weeks. Seeing patients and updating the patient chart notes with current information based on their last appointment.
- These notes must be completed within 24 hours of the patient's last appointment. Completing and signing labs, letters, forms, prior authorization requests, or other medical records for patients.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- State of Colorado licensed Psychiatric Physician Assistant
- Desire to be an integral part of a rapidly growing team dedicated to transforming the mental health care system.
- Can rapidly establish deep rapport with a significant variety of people. Authentic, non-judgmental, focused presence, intuitive sensitivity, empathic while maintaining supportive structure, nuanced self-discovery, warmth, respect/appreciate different life trajectories.
- Experience with adversity and an active commitment to personal growth.
- Understanding of the physical and psychological effects of psychedelics.
- Deep compassion and empathy for others
- Knowledge of HIPAA and a background in working with confidential information
- A willingness to learn and a growth mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability and tools to work remotely
