Job Description
We are seeking an Accountant II/Payroll Coordinator to manage the accurate and timely processing of payroll for approximately 9,000 employees, with a payroll value of $1.5B. This role involves overseeing the entire payroll lifecycle, including payroll processing, reporting, auditing, and compliance. The Payroll Coordinator will collaborate with HR, Finance, and other internal teams to ensure adherence to company policies, U.S. federal and state tax laws, and best payroll practices.
Skill / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or equivalent experience.
- 5–7 years of U.S. payroll experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with ADP GlobalView payroll processing (required).
- Experience with payroll software implementations and integrations is preferred.
- Familiarity with payroll reporting tools and report writing is a plus.
- Strong understanding of payroll taxes, benefits, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (v-lookup, pivot tables) and other MS Office tools.
- Experience with AI tools to enhance payroll reporting, analytics, or process improvement is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to resolve payroll discrepancies.
- High level of confidentiality, integrity, and ethical conduct.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively across teams.

Job Responsibilities
- Process U.S. payroll on a bi-weekly basis using ADP GlobalView, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Maintain and update payroll data, including the collection, calculation, and entry of information.
- Review and reconcile payroll discrepancies, resolving any errors or issues.
- Prepare and distribute payroll checks, taxes, and employee benefit payments.
- Maintain general ledger payroll maps and assist Finance with reconciliations and journal entries.
- Generate and provide reports illustrating payroll expenditures, including earnings, deductions, and taxes.
- Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance with corporate governance and internal controls.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Partner with HR and Finance on various projects, system implementations, and process improvements.
- Contribute to the development and documentation of payroll procedures and policies.
