Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring efficient operations, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Duties

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
  • Train and develop staff in food preparation, customer service, and operational procedures.
  • Supervise kitchen , including cooking and food production processes.
  • Handle cash management and POS transactions using Toast systems.
  • Implement budgeting strategies to optimize profitability while maintaining quality service.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership.
  • Conduct interviews for new hires and manage employee performance evaluations.
  • Ensure high standards of food handling and safety practices are followed by all staff members.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary experience preferred.
  • Experience with casual dining settings is advantageous.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience in shift management and scheduling.
  • Proficient in cash handling procedures and financial oversight within a restaurant context.
  • Knowledge of training & development practices to enhance staff performance.
  • Background in hospitality management or related fields is desirable.
