Overview
A leading construction company is seeking a detail-oriented temporary Administrative Assistant to support operations during a major construction project in a corporate bank building located in Midtown Manhattan. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and able to handle fast-paced administrative work with precision and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Maintain and update project logs, reports, and other administrative documents
- Support project managers and supervisors with clerical and scheduling tasks
- Prepare correspondence, spreadsheets, and internal reports using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- File and organize documentation related to the project and compliance records
- Communicate effectively with field staff, vendors, and corporate personnel
- Assist with ordering and tracking supplies as needed
Qualifications
- Previous administrative or clerical experience required; construction or engineering industry experience preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy project environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality
Compensation
- $25.00 per hour
