Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Loan Officer to join our dynamic financial services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding clients through the loan application process, assessing their financial needs, and providing tailored loan solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of mortgage products, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

We provide live transfer leads daily, giving you a consistent stream of motivated borrowers.

Please note: Prior experience working at a mortgage broker shop is required. Applicants without this experience will not be considered.

Duties

  • Evaluate loan applications and financial information to determine eligibility for various loan products.
  • Provide clients with information on loan options, terms, and conditions in compliance with FNMA and TILA regulations.
  • Assist clients in completing loan applications and gathering necessary documentation.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and other financial professionals to facilitate the loan approval process.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and client interactions using accounting software.
  • Manage the loan processing timeline to ensure timely closings while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients through effective communication and follow-up.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, mortgage servicing practices, and changes in regulations.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of contract law as it pertains to lending agreements.
  • Proficiency in FNMA guidelines and TILA compliance.
  • Experience with accounting software for accurate record-keeping.
  • Background in financial services or mortgage servicing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with loan processing procedures and best practices.
  • Proven sales skills with the ability to meet or exceed performance targets.
  • Excellent math skills for calculating interest rates, payments, and other financial metrics.
  • Proficient in 10 key typing for efficient data entry tasks.
  • Broker shop experience is required. Candidates must have worked in a wholesale mortgage broker environment.
