Executive Communications Manager
for a 12-month contract engagement. This role will support senior leadership communications and strategic messaging initiatives across a global organization focused on accelerating digital transformation.

Pay Rate:
$70-75/hour

Position Overview:

The Communications Manager will play a critical role in shaping executive narratives, developing integrated communication strategies, and driving thought leadership opportunities. This individual will craft compelling, data-driven content for senior leaders, manage high-profile speaking engagements, and strengthen alignment between internal and external messaging.

Success in this position requires strong strategic thinking, excellent writing skills, and a deep understanding of how to translate complex business objectives into clear, impactful communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner directly with senior executives to craft clear, authentic messaging that drives organizational goals and business outcomes.
  • Develop and execute strategic communications plans, including internal messaging frameworks, executive presentations, global town halls, and digital content.
  • Prepare leaders for speaking engagements and public appearances through speechwriting, talking points, and multimedia storytelling.
  • Collaborate with marketing, PR, and subject matter experts to ensure message alignment across teams and audiences.
  • Manage and maintain the executive communications calendar, ensuring consistency of key messages across events and channels.
  • Research industry trends, audience insights, and competitive narratives to inform communication strategies.
  • Measure engagement and impact, using data and metrics to continuously refine communications efforts.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting senior executives in a corporate or enterprise environment.
  • Proven success developing and executing high-impact executive communications strategies for global audiences.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
  • Experience within the business-to-business technology sector strongly preferred.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to build trust and influence cross-functional partners.
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI-driven tools and analytics to enhance communications and measure effectiveness.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
