Position Summary

Interplay seeks a 
Vice President of Campus Partnership Development
 to lead the organization's growth across higher education.

This senior role combines relationship management, strategic planning, and a deep commitment to student well-being. The Vice President will build and maintain partnerships with colleges and universities nationwide, ensuring that each collaboration advances both student flourishing and institutional success.

The ideal candidate brings experience in higher education, an understanding of student development, and the ability to connect mission to measurable results.

Responsibilities

  • Build and steward partnerships with colleges, universities, and student success programs across the U.S.
  • Listen carefully to each institution's mission and priorities to align Interplay's approach with campus goals.
  • Present Interplay's framework as a resource for improving student flourishing, retention, and engagement.
  • Lead the full partnership process—from initial outreach to renewal—while maintaining accurate documentation in the organization's CRM system.
  • Mentor and support regional partnership representatives as Interplay's network grows.
  • Represent the organization at conferences, leadership meetings, and other higher-education events.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in higher education—preferably within Student Affairs, Student Success, Enrollment Management, or Institutional Advancement.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse institutional stakeholders.
  • A clear understanding of the connection between student well-being, belonging, and academic success.
  • Proven ability to translate mission and vision into actionable results.
  • High degree of professionalism, integrity, and self-direction.

Compensation

This is a 
commission-based leadership role
 with uncapped earning potential:

  • 50% commission
     on new institutional partnerships (first-year contracts)
  • 25% commission
     on renewals and expansions

Early success in this position may lead to expanded leadership opportunities as Interplay scales its national partnership network.
