Aspen Home Health and Hospice is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented LPN Office Assistant to join our Idaho Falls office hospice team. This is a Monday–Friday position with no weekend requirements, offering a great work–life balance. We also provide excellent compensation and a full benefits package, including paid vacation, paid holidays, sick time, health/dental/vision insurance, and a 401(k).

We are looking for a team member who enjoys working with the elderly and communicates warmly and professionally with patients, caregivers, families, referral sources, and hospice staff.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate new intake referrals and gather medical records, orders, and patient insurance information
  • Perform accurate data entry/intake into EMR for all referrals received
  • Efficiently schedule hospice evaluation, informational, and admission visits
  • Communicate with DME and pharmacy vendors to arrange needed equipment and supplies
  • Assist in preparing materials required for admission visits
  • Fulfill supply requisitions
  • Maintain electronic medical records
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills & Prerequisites

  • Current Idaho LPN license
  • Hospice or Home Health experience preferred
  • Experience with Homecare Homebase preferred
  • 2 years of LPN experience preferred
  • Strong communication, customer service, phone, and computer skills
  • Must have good references
  • Compassionate, patient-focused, and comfortable working with the elderly
