Overview

We are looking for a part time Medical Office Assistant/Billing Assistant. Part time in this postition is 3 days a week 8am-5pm. This position needs an individual that must be organized, detail oriented, problem solver, troubleshooter, and uses their critical thinking skills. Some of What you'll do

  • Manage medical records efficiently, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Perform medical billing tasks including insurance verification, coding using CPT and ICD-10 standards, and processing payments.
  • Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Eclinical.
  • Making collection calls to past due accounts.
  • Data Entry

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in an office.
  • Experience with EMR systems such as eClinicalWorks.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus to enhance patient communication.
  • Previous experience in a medical office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
