What the role is about:
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a key role in building our team by finding and connecting with top talent. You'll manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing to hiring, while creating a positive candidate experience. The ideal candidate is resourceful, personable, and excited about helping a growing company thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced industry.
What impact you'll make:
- Post job openings and source candidates via job boards, social media, and networking.
- Support the full recruitment life cycle from screening candidates and coordinating interviews with hiring managers to extending offers.
- Help maintain candidate pipelines and databases.
- Assist in preparing recruitment materials and job descriptions.
- Conduct regular recruitment training for hiring managers and interviewers.
- Support compliance with state and federal employment regulations.
- Provide a positive candidate experience and help build relationships with potential hires.
- Develop and execute strategies to strengthen the company's employer brand, including creating engaging job postings, managing social media recruitment campaigns, coordinating candidate events,
- Track recruitment metrics and help prepare reports for HR leadership.
- Continue to evolve our recruitment strategies and processes.
What you've accomplished:
- 3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in retail or hospitality; cannabis industry experience a strong plus.
- Proven experience with full-cycle recruitment.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting tools.
